films at age ten. Robert attended the Rhode Island School of Design in order to
study film with esteemed professor John Terry, mentor to director Gus Van Sant.
Following graduation, Robert was scouted by MTV Networks in New York City.
There his first project was to film the pilot for the seminal reality series The Real
World. As a producer for MTV's On Air Promo department Robert received three
Broadcast Design Awards for his work on some of the channel's most
memorable program packages and animated ID's.
Robert left MTV in 1995 to form his own production company, Circus Maximus. It
was in this same year that he received an Emmy Award for his work on the PBS

Kristine Patnugot
Producer/Director/Editor
Enthralled with sound and picture from an early age, Kristine Patnugot's
involvement in the entertainment industry was an instinctual response to her
natural curiosity. She has worked in the industry for several years, primarily in
the realm of post-production. Currently, she has partnered with Eric Miclette and
Robert Jason to form wERK Productions. In addition to "T", wERK has several
projects in various stages of development and production.
Prior to forming wERK with her creative partners in 2007, Kristine worked in Los
Angeles on a variety of projects from clip shows to lifestyle shows to
documentaries and music videos. She was also involved with a small film
collective producing and directing short films. While in Los Angeles, Kristine
worked on various projects for CBS, FOX, HBO, Showtime, the BBC, MTV, VH1,
A∓E, Sony Music, Lifetime, and Universal.
After cutting her teeth in L.A. - gaining experience, knowledge and an inside look
at the entertainment industry, Kristine Patnugot's intellectual meanderings got the
best of her and from 2003-2005 she pursued a different yet slightly converging
direction enrolling in Georgetown University's Communication, Culture and
Technology master's program. While there, Kristine studied new media and its
creation of social spaces, and the reception of power and gender from television
portrayals of femininity.
After graduating with honors, armed with new knowledge and refreshed from her
break from the industry, Kristine Patnugot dove back into production work with a
new vision and in a new city – New York. Since moving to New York, Kristine
has done work for Academy Award winning documentary filmmakers such as
Murray Lerner and Michael Moore. She has also worked on Nimrod Nation and
other projects in the documentary and verite genre. wERK Productions is a
result of this journey, as well as an exploration of film and television that satisfies
both her creative and intellectual pursuits.
